Is it Time to Abandon Trump and Cruz or Take Over the Republican Party?

Trump will be the Republican candidate for President - assuming the Party apparatus abides by its own rules. Many of the elite of the Party are upset and are saying they won’t attend the Convention or endorse the Donald. Some of them are also for running a third party candidate. EXCUSE ME! The people of the Party have spoken - if you wish to leave the Party we will not follow you! I know that many conservatives are considering moving their vote, but our candidate, Cruz, will keep his word and support the nominee (unlike Jeb Bush and Lindsey Craham), and we should follow Cruz in defeat as well as in victory.

Everyday Americans are with Trump all the way and as a Constitutional Conservative I am willing to be humble and go with them. Any other course is to allow the Democrat Party to continue trashing American and Constitutional values. The best hope for conservatism is to use the power we have gained in the House and in the Senate, by also voting in a Republican President. The momentum is clearly with the Republican Party as has been demonstrated by the number of Republicans, Independents, and disaffected Democrats who came to us during this campaign. We the Republican people are leading this revolution and we will carry it through. How?

I am calling for both Trump and Cruz to be humble and remember that their support is in the people. More of us voted for them than anyone else. Trump has acknowledged that he wants a VP that has political experience in Washington but if he embraces the elite he will lose our support. I want Donald Trump and Ted Cruz (T’nT) to combine their energies and run together in the prioritized order the people have set. Let Trump pick Cruz as his Vice President (VP) and he will maintain his position as the outsider aligned with the voice of the people. Think of the advantages: the elite HATE Cruz more than Trump; Cruz has a fabulous campaign machine in place for the general election; and with Trump as President and Cruz as VP managing the legislative agenda, conservatism will increase and “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.”
