This Midterm Election is Important

            My wife was a Never-Trumper – hated him – didn’t vote for him. Now she understands and loves him! She wants to support his candidates this mid-term! How about us?

            This midterm election must succeed at dumping the Dems so that the House and Senate can fully support the Trump agenda. Why? Because that is our agenda – restoring greatness to America. Bring out your Never-Trumper, independent, and moderate Democrat neighbors for every candidate that President Trump has endorsed. Do not reward the disgraceful anti-Kavanagh, in-our-face, contemptuous, criminal, extremist behavior of the radical Left.

            When visiting family in New Zealand in 2017, I was surprised to hear a popular news commentator say that you must admire Trump, he is the rare politician that is keeping his promises – isn’t that refreshing!

            In 1966, at age 17, I came to America from socialist New Zealand. I could not believe the economic vibrancy in Hawaii – it was amazing! I arrived with $20, acceptance at a University, and guaranteed employment – and did I enjoy having spending money in my pocket!

            Fast forward to 2006 – 2016 when my visits to New Zealand reminded me of Hawaii in 1966. Economic activity had reversed – New Zealand was booming with free enterprise and less government control, and the USA was stagnant and remained so until 2017.

            Since Trump’s election, the economy has exploded into the activity I remember in the 60s. The difference? TRUMP! He is taking the shackles off – restoring economic liberty.

            In 2016 I was a Ted Cruz supporter but then had to switch to Trump because the Dems had corrupted our Justice system by turning a blind eye to Hillary’s criminal behavior. As a US Air Force officer, I would have been in jail the rest of my life if I had done what she and her team did with classified material. The Washington elite believed they were above the law!

            I read Trump’s book and had my eyes opened when I read how he used the media – they love red meat, and he loved to give it to them – he had them in the palm of his hand! I loved even more that he refused to accept the Left’s definition of moral and political virtue. Unlike any other Republican he trashed the Left’s politically correct speech that had enslaved the rest of us for years. He is our repressed voice – tweeting out exactly what he wants to say – not what the Left demands!

            I agree with Trump’s characterization of the Left and their media cohorts as “evil.” They remind me of the Bible description of Satan, “the accuser of our brethren … which accused them before our God day and night.” (Revelations 12: 10) Our greatest political power is our vote. Use your power this midterm to vote the Dems out by supporting Trump’s candidates.

            Thank God for President Trump – he has restored governance to the people by keeping his promises! Let’s throw off the fetters of the Left by supporting Trump and his candidates!
