Hillary's Lack of "Cred" with the People and the President will Undo Her

To be fair, Hillary won the Democratic debate last night on points and style and a lot of Democrats will continue to support her. However, since 60% of Americans believe she is corrupt and dishonest, I give the debate to Bernie Sanders. I think it's fair to say that most Democrats listening to Bernie, would believe that he would honestly try to do everything he talks about. Now Bernie might not "give a dam about (Hillary's) emails" but we do!

I was stunned that Hillary would advocate that Edward Snowden and Wall Street CEOs go to jail for their wrong doing - but not her?! As CEO of the US State Department did not Hillary do exactly as Snowden and Wall Street "gamblers" did? She had her staff in the State Department copy classified information over to her unclassified network - just as Snowden. She accuses Wall Street CEOs of being gamblers with our money, but hasn't she gambled with our national secrets? As a military officer, if I had copied classified information and put it into an unclassified network, I would expect to go to jail.

State Department staffers moved more than 400 pieces of classified information over to Hillary's unclassified network by one of three methods - all illegal.
  1. Simply reading off information on the classified network and hand jamming it into the unclassified network.
  2. Downloading classified information onto a storage device and transferring it over to the unclassified network as Snowden did.
  3. Hooking an unclassified computer to the classified network.
She obviously directed that this be done for her convenience - to Hell with national security.

I think it highly likely, if there is any justice in America, that Hillary will go to jail. She has not openly broadcast classified material that she had copied off the secure network, but in all other regards she has done the same as Snowden. At a minimum she should lose her security clearance. She has demonstrated what 60% of us have perceived - she is not trustworthy.

President Obama is obviously using Hillary's email situation to his advantage. In his 60 Minutes interview, instead of not commenting because of the ongoing FBI investigation, which he has allowed, he expressed the view that she had made a mistake. Through his White House spokesman today, he emphasized his trust in the independent agencies (FBI/Justice Department) to do their job. Through his (corrupt) influence he could have stopped the FBI investigation, as he did the Lois Lerner investigation, but he has not. I think Rush Limbaugh's prediction will turn out to be right, Obama has no intention of turning the Democrat Party back to the Clintons by allowing Hillary to be nominated/elected President.

I expect Obama to see that Hillary is in serious legal jeopardy, sufficient to cause her to drop out of the race. Bernie Sanders will likely be the Democrat nominee if Joe Biden stays out.

  1. I admire that you were able to watch the debate. I had no interest in doing so (besides being a bit busy). I hope you're right about her not being the nominee, but I'm not counting my chickens yet.

  2. It's a known fact that she kept classified government information on a private server for her own convenience, yet she still has the audacity to run for the President of the United States. The epitome of corruption.

"I will break laws endangering national security wantonly, and I will not face consequences, and the American people will be none the wiser nor will they care." Is what I hear from her actions. What is the difference between what she and Edward Snowden did? Regardless of intentions, they essentially did the same thing, yet one has been exiled out of this country, while the other runs for POTUS. Kind of sickening.

  3. The press is finally asking Hillary harder, more probing questions. Her response has been to double down on two answers that are designed to mislead:

    1. "I never sent any emails that were marked classified." Of course you didn't Hillary, because all the classified marking were stripped off so as not to draw attention on your unclassified network. This article covers this deceptive reply very well: http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/08/12/the-spy-satellite-secrets-in-hillary-s-emails.html

    2. "Well, my use of an unclassified server was approved by the State Department." Of course it was Hillary - you were the State Department - the Secretary of the State Department - you approved it!

I will actively contend against this dishonest woman. How can any American trust anything that comes out of her mouth.

  4. While Hillary believes she did well at the Benghazi hearings, the new revelation we have is that she, as a good follower of her President, lied with the Administration about the cause of the Benghazi attack. To her family (in an email) and to the Egyptian President (in a State Department recorded conversation) the day after the attack, she stated that it was a preplanned terrorist attack. To the Egyptian President she even added that it was not due to the video. So yes she lied, but let us also understand that the entire Obama Administration lied to promote the re-election campaign narrative to the American public that Al Quada was on the run following the killing of Osama Bin Laden. The President is the power in the Democrat Party - do not take your eyes off him. Hillary's lies were under his direction.

Joe Biden's Rose Garden announcement that he was not running in this presidential race also needs to be viewed with an eye towards the President, who stood beside him during the announcement. Joe said he wasn't running, but he also made it very clear that he would not be silent about the issues and that he was available if needed. He did not endorse Hillary and in fact countered (again) Hillary's view of the Republicans as the enemy. Obviously the President was supporting everything Joe said, and he is allowing the FBI investigation of Hillary to proceed. This all suggests to me that Hillary will be charged (or at least discredited) and Joe will step into her position. HOWEVER; the window closes 6 Nov for Joe to file as a Democratic candidate for president in Alabama. So ... if he does not file with Alabama 6 Nov, I may be wrong. HOWEVER (again) each Party has a process for replacing a nominee who “dies” before the election, so 6 Nov may not be a show stopper at all. If Hillary becomes too great a liability, Joe may emerge from the July Democrat Convention as the replacement nominee. Here is a good article on late replacement of a nominee for President.
